BMAC hosted F3C and F3N Competition

The BMAC is hosting an F3C and F3N Competition over the weekend of 3, 4 and 5th of November 2017.

The BMAC invites all MAAA insured pilots to our F3C and F3N  competition at the Crace Grassland Flying Field. Events are:

Competition will commence on Friday with Pilot briefing at 9:00am.
An entry fee of $25.00 can be paid on the day.

Registration can be completed on the day, before the Pilot briefing,  however;  sending in a completed entry early will assist the club to manage any catering.

Lake George Soaring League

The LGSL is holding an open fun flying day on Sunday 26 November 2017.  Bring your electric assist, bungy or winch launch glider. The aim of the day is to have fun and perhaps improve your gliding skills. There will be experienced members present who will be able to assist you with :

  • General glider setup;
  • Testing of new models;
  • Thermalling skills & principles;
  • How to bungy and winch launch (equipment supplied)

There will be a sausage sizzle lunch and soft drinks/water available so make it a full day and put it on your calendar now.

2018 World Championship F4H Team Selection

The MAAA have agreed to conduct a trial for the selection of the Australian F4H team to be held in conjunction with the Victorian Scale Championships on 20 August at the NFG (State Field), Darraweit Guim, near Wallan Victoria.

The trial will be run to FAI F4 rules and entrants in the trial will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of $250 by the end of July 2017.  The fees will be held in trust and applied to the benefit of the selected team.  Entry fees should be paid to Mr Noel Whitehead contactable at noelw26@gmail.com  or at 03 98575951 .
